ABOUT REMUERA GALLERY
The Remuera Gallery has been a land mark in the area for 30 years.
Now under the ownership of Scott Dargaville, the gallery continues to
support a host of Renown and established New Zealand Artists.
We are a people orientated gallery, our aim is to make people feel
comfortable as well as being a place of learning and art appreciation.
Scott and Heidi bring together a wide range of skills with 20 years
experience in the Fine Art and Framing industry.
GALLERY
The gallery offers an eclectic collection of paintings from abstract to
traditional. As well as sculpture, glass and ceramic pieces.
Selective exhibitions show case a body of work of a particular artist and in
between exhibitions we hang a wide range of work from our stock room.
We happily work with decorators and corporate clients, finding the right
works to suit the environment.
We have a no obligation try before you buy policy as well as payment plans
to suit. Art works can be delivered through out New Zealand and overseas.
FRAMING
Finding the right framing choice for your art work can be quite a daunting
experience for many people, we have years of experience and work with the
client to find just the right fame for the job.
All aspect must be taken into consideration, to complement and enhance the
art work as well as taking into consideration the environment in which it
will be hung, and meeting your budget.
All valuable works are framed to a conservation standard and needle art is
hand laced over acid free backing, all steps are taken to ensure the
longevity of your art work/photograph/certificate/tapestry ect.
We also stock a wide range of ornate imported mirrors, or you can select a
moulding of your choice and have one made to measure.
A beautifully framed mirror strategically placed in a room can transform the
room giving a sense of space and light.
Our framing studio is situated a few minutes away at 66 Benson Rd, Remuera.
Feel free to visit our friendly framers or come up to the gallery.
We offer a Restoration service for oils and paper works. This highly
specialised area of expertise and work is carried out by professional
conservators.
