Born in 1924 in New South Wales, Beadle studied at the National Art School, Newcastle and began her exhibition career in sculpture and ceramics in 1956.
Arriving in New Zealand in 1965 she married Paul Beadle and continued exhibiting throughout Australasia.
Since 1988 when she co-founded the New Zealand Contemporary Medallion Group, she has joined F.I.D.E.M. and exhibited plaques, medallions, prints and paintings
